This Turnout is designed to mate up exactly width-wise with the roadbed.  The 30-degree shoulders represent a more realistic slope found in many actual railroad roadbeds.  Any turnout in size from #8 thru #11 will fit this turnout pad.  The scale thickness is 12" for branchline/siding or 18" Mainline.  Actual thickness is 3.5mm (approx. 3/16") for branchline and 5mm (approx. 7/32" for mainline).  Turnout is approx. 15-5/8" long, which facilitates extra length to trim to the exact switch utilized.  Turnout is curvable for radius of 18" on the diverging route.
